The program is an initiative aimed at enhancing the ability of Costa Rican exporting companies to access new international markets.
It also seeks to strengthen the international commercialization of Costa Rica’s micro, small, and medium-sized exporting enterprises. Its goal is to increase the added value of products with export potential through differentiated promotion strategies, which include the improvement of goods, services, branding, and packaging. This facilitates entry into new international markets, benefiting companies in the agricultural, agribusiness, food, industrial, and service sectors (except tourism), in alignment with PROCOMER’s strategic plan.
The program will last for 3 months, and to participate, you must meet the following requirements:
Have a legal entity identification number (be a duly registered company in the National Registry) or a personal identification number.
Be a micro, small, or medium-sized enterprise.
Be registered as an employer with the CCSS and be up to date with tax payments.
Have the supported economic activity registered with the Ministry of Finance and be up to date with the corresponding payments.
Be compliant with all required operating permits according to the economic activity.
Have recorded exports in at least one year within the periods of 2022, 2023, or 2024, with a minimum of $5,000.
